Handling Project

Meet the new faces of our handling project!

Today we brought six young horses in from the back hills to kick off our new handling project. We have a group of 10 four- and five-year-old horses, but as we can't start working with all of them at once, we came up with the idea of putting all of their names into a hat. Izzie, Taylor and Miri each drew one horse at random. Out of the 10 horses, there are only two colts, and as they're both quite wild and the biggest challenge to handle, Vic has taken on both of them. :) James not wanting to be left out is working on rising 3yr old pony Braveheart LS.

Starting tomorrow, the real work begins! To follow each horse's handling journey, we'll be posting updates on facebook and instagram.
