CHATELAINE LS is a lovely type of mare with a great future ahead as a jumper & broodmare representing top bloodlines from Longspring Stud. This mare is a genuine allrounder that will excel any any discipline. Green broke a year ago she would be a good winter project. The name Chatelaine is a fashion magazine popular in Canada and reflects this filly's style and grace.

 

BLOODLINES

Her bloodlines contain a double cross to DISTELFINK, NZ's most successful jumping sire ever. Through CRUSADER LS, she has the renowned bloodlines of the Hanoverian breed in Germany where CENTAVOS is by ESCUDO I, sire the decade and out of a State Premium mare ANNABELLE who is by ARGENTINUS who was awarded the status of Sire of the Century.  

 

CRUSADER's dam DIAMOND INVADER was a TB by BRILLIANT INVADER who sired WEG gold medalist READY TEDDY, top jumping mare FLOWER POWER who was the dam of DELPHI with Katie McVean. The mare jumped to 1.30m level in Young Rider classes.

DARK LADY LS is a mare by DARKMINSTER we rate highly. She was broken in & jumped early on but an injury put her into the broodmare herd. She has good jumping, movement & overall appeal. She is also the dam of NITTY GRITTY LS  in the sale.
 
DARKMINSTER LS contains the valuable bloodline of DISTELFINK combined with the top eventing sire WESTMINSTER in NZ. His progeny are now competing on a world stage in eventing as partnerships - Dark Side of the Moon LS with Bundy Philpott and Director LS with Beth Wilson recently 4th in his first CCI** event in NZ. 
 
On the bottom line, the mare TELESTAR was by TELEREIGN another successful sire in NZ and sire of the Olympic silver medal event horse SQUIRREL HILL and Sally Clark.
