LORD OF THE RINGS LS is a flashy young colt with extravagant movement and nice show hunter jumping style. He is a combination of bloodlines of the 2019 NZ National Ch 5 year old (both by Lord Larino) out of NZ National Ch 6 yr old (by Colombia). EMH 160cm.

LORD OF THE RINGS himself is more than 50% thoroughbred so would be an ideal eventer as well as all round jumping and dressage prospect.

BLOODLINES

Sire of Lord of the Rings LS is LORD LARINO LS who represents great value and has inherited the best bloodlines in NZ through his dam TOP LADY LS who is out of a full sister to the unbeatable SUPER MOTH LS who in the 1990s with rider John Cottle won more than 75 classes including 44 at Grand Prix level. He was NZ Showjumper of the Year 5 times. SUPER MOTH LS was a little horse at 15.3 hh but had the right attitude to take on the big fences.   

LORD LARINO LS is by the keur KWPN sire LARINO by the legendary CONCORDE making this stallion a good cross of European and NZ bloodlines. LORD LARINO'S oldest youngsters are now rising six and already include the winner of the NZ National 5 Year Old title FLORENCE with rider Logan Massie at the NZ National Young Horse Championships in 2019.
