2022 Brown Filly by CRUSADER LS

CLEOPATRA LS is the last foal of the DISTELFINK mare DISTELGOLD. She is a full sister to CRYSTAL GOLD LS also in the auction. She is also taller. She is by (EUROSPORT CENTAVOS/BRILLIANT INVADER) and is out of a mare by DISTELFINK from the family that produced WC show jumper LARINIUM LS. A wonderful combination for the sport and for breeding in future.

BLOODLINES

Her sire CRUSADER LS is by EUROSPORT CENTAVOS a licensed Hanoverian from the top bloodlines in Germany. His dam DIAMOND INVADER was by legendary thoroughbred sire BRILLIANT INVADER who sired the WEG gold medallist Ready Teddy & more. The mare jumped to 1.30m in young rider classes.
 
DISTELGOLD LS is a full sister to DABOO LS who is the dam of LARINIUM LS - a talented young showjumper ridden by Logan Massie and then his sister Georgia. He jumped at World Cup height before sale to a young rider in NZ.
 
CRYSTAL GOLD LS is out of DISTELGOLD LS, one of the last Distelfink mares. DISTELFINK was unarguably the most influential jumping sire in NZ and was at the top of the sires list for jumping for 14 years in a row. He was also 3rd on the FEI Eventing Sires list at one stage as he produced many top event horses and a number of top dressage horses.  She goes back to the foundation mare DONNA who produced jumpers exported to USA, Japan and the Netherlands. 
 
TABOO, the dam of DISTELGOLD LS was the last foal of DONNA, who produced showjumpers in NZ and overseas. Her NZ offspring included DONATELLO who won the style section as a 6 year old of the National Breeders Show with Philip Steiner. TABOO (by TRIBUNE) was the sister to 3 jumpers sold overseas - THE MINDER (J Cottle) to Japan; DOW JONES LS to California, USA and another young rider horse to Holland.
