We are keen to get these young sires off to a good start and are giving away a number of FREE services to these exciting young sires for the coming 2011 season. Your mare may be eligible! APPLY with details of your mare, her pedigree, performance and performance of any related offspring or siblings. The stud fee is valued at $1200 + gst and could be yours for free if your mare is judged one of the best to apply!

If you are looking for a sire that is predominately TB but with a bit of warmblood to improve the movement and jumping ability of your mare, then you can’t go past this stunning young horse.
An outstanding colt by the stakes winning TB sire WATCHMAN who goes back on the direct female line to the mother of Europes most influential TB bloodline on the WB industry - Furioso. Watchamacallit’s pedigree through his sire is liberally sprinkled with the top TB bloodlines of Precipitation & Furioso (Europe) and Agricola & Oncidium in NZ. Agricola was the sire of Brilliant Invader who produced Ready Teddy, Blyth Taits WEG gold medal horse and is of interest recently as the sire of the dam of NZ’s showjumper of the moment, Delphi who placed 6th = in the recent World Cup finals. He is also the sire of a number of top jumpers coming out of Australia that are jumping in Europe.
His dam Denise LS is by Distelfink (NZs top showjumping sire for more than 14 years) – who was highly rated undersaddle as a jumper in her early years but was put to stud instead. She proved a difficult breeder but was kept on as she was the best looking mare on the place and every year we kept hoping would be the one! She was a tall, elegant mare with great quality and charm. After 9 years without a foal and the dedicated work of Victoria through Syenz Reproduction, the mare had Timbuktu LS by Tiger Moth LS in 2005 an exceptionally talented young horse that will be out this season. Then in 2007 she had this young colt and also now has a beautiful weanling filly by Hula Town.
With his blaze and matching stockings as well as the white patch on his belly that many of the Precipitation/Furioso’s horses had, he is a sire with a great future. He will be started under saddle this year with a view to competing in the age series as a 5 year old in 2012. With size in his background, he is a good choice for the smaller mare.

Lord Larino is a rising 3 year old frozen semen colt by the KPWN sire LARINO by the Legendary CONCORD (Sire of the Century), Larino was recently awarded the Keur Preferent making him one of the top proven jumping sires in the Netherlands in recent years. His breeding index for jumping is at the top level and can only improve with time as more of his youngsters get out and about.
Lord Larino is out of TOP LADY LS who is one of the top mare families at the stud combining the top sire lines of Tric Trac (TB) with a full sister to the legendary Super Moth LS who with John Cottle amassed 74 wins in Showjumping and won over $100,000 in NZ before sale to the USA. TOP LADY LS was also third in the loose jumping competition held at the Horse of the Year Show in 2002 as a three year old. She is a beautiful looking mare with outstanding movement, jumping ability and a pedigree to match.
